The following projects highlight select experience organizing, cataloging, and presenting digital collections for libraries, archives, and cultural heritage organizations. Each reflects a focus on metadata quality, sustainable workflows, and long-term access.
Champaign County Historical Archives
Digital Exhibit Platform Implementation

Implemented Omeka.net as a digital exhibition platform to expand public access to library exhibits. Built the exhibition site from scratch, including assessment and selection of tools and plugins to support functionality and usability. Developed metadata and cataloging guidelines for digital items and created staff training documentation to support ongoing site maintenance and future content. Uploaded Champaign’s Early Days of Gambling as a pilot exhibit to establish standards and workflows.
Illinois History and Lincoln Collections

“The People’s Candidate” Digital Exhibit

Developed a full digital exhibition presenting Lincoln’s election history using a WordPress-based platform. Built the exhibit structure from the ground up, uploaded and organized all media and interpretive content, and applied consistent tagging, formatting, and descriptive metadata to support navigation and discovery.

Digital Archives Database Migration and Metadata Cleanup

Led a database migration and metadata remediation project to improve the visibility and searchability of the library’s digital archives. Managed large-scale metadata cleanup, normalization, and system upgrades, resulting in improved user access and increased engagement with digital collections.
